Dr. Media Noori Abdullah

Professor

I have a B.Sc. in Chemistry, from Salahaddin University-Erbil, Erbil, Kurdistan, Iraq, MSc1 in Physical Organic Chemistry, from Salahaddin University-Erbil, Erbil, Kurdistan region, Iraq, MSc2 in Bioorganic synthesis from the University of Basque Country (UPV) 2004, and Ph.D. in Bioorganic Synthesis in University of the Basque country (UPV) 2007 (Excellent).

I am a professor at the Chemistry Department, College of Science, Salahaddin University-Erbil. My research is situated in organic synthesis, with a particular focus on Heterocyclic compounds. I teach several Chemistry courses to undergraduate and postgraduate students. I also published 38 papers in scientific journals. I was the general register of the university from 1998 to 2001. From 2012 to 2023, I was the Director of Health and Safety at Salahaddin University-Erbil.
