Research Interest
I am deeply interested in exploring the following areas:
- Akkadian and Sumerian Languages – Studying the grammar, vocabulary, and syntax of these ancient languages to better understand Mesopotamian civilization.
- Transliteration and Translation of Unpublished Cuneiform Tablets – I aim to work on transliterating, translating, and annotating unpublished cuneiform texts, with the goal of making them accessible through academic publication.
- Geographical and Historical Studies of the Ancient Near East (East of the Tigris River) – My focus includes the ancient history of the Kurdistan region, emphasizing its role and development within the broader context of Near Eastern civilizations.
- The Nuzi Archive – I am particularly interested in the Nuzi texts, aiming to analyze their content to shed light on socio-economic and legal aspects of ancient societies.
- Science and the Humanities – Exploring interdisciplinary connections between scientific inquiry and humanistic scholarship to better understand ancient knowledge systems.
- Humanitarian Work – I am also passionate about contributing to humanitarian efforts, particularly those that support the preservation of cultural heritage and promote education in conflict-affected regions.
Pursuing these interests will be a new and exciting challenge for me, offering valuable experiences that will shape both my academic and personal journey.
