Biography

Dr. Delshad Botani is an Assistant Professor of Statistics and Informatics at Salahaddin University – Erbil, with over 28 years of experience in teaching statistical subjects and conducting data analyses for both national and international organizations, including UN-FAO, GFK Company, GIZ, USAID, UNICEF, and Sard Organization. He is an active member of various national and international organizations such as ESOMAR, the Kurdistan Economist Syndicate, and the SOSS Organization. Dr. Botani has authored a statistical book titled AMARZANI, written in Kurdish.  He has taught a wide range of subjects to undergraduate and postgraduate students, including principles of statistics, mathematical statistics, operations research, statistical surveys, multivariate statistical analyses, data analysis using SPSS, probability, Visual Basic programming, and computer applications. Additionally, he supervises master’s and PhD students in the field of statistics, contributing significantly to the academic and professional growth of his students.  Dr. Botani also possesses excellent skills in conducting marketing research and feasibility studies for large companies and organizations, further showcasing his expertise and versatility in the fields of statistics, data analysis, and research.
