Biography
Dunya Mirdan teaches in Social Work department since 2010. Dunya holds a master degree in Sociology & Social Policy from University of Kurdistan UKH, Erbil, Iraq. Her dissertation received an excellent degree from Exeter University UK in the academic year 2010 among her colleagues. She holds B.As in Education, Psychology and English Language from Salahadin University Hawler. She is one of the key founders in IRDK Institute for Research & Development in Kurdistan. She worked on a research with Bergen University, Department of Social Anthropology that examined the CSR policies in DNO company in Kurdistan in 2017. In addition to her academic career, as an activist she worked with different INGOs on different development programs focusing on Women, Children, Psychology & Gender Equality. Since 2011 she teaches in Social Work Department college of Arts at SUE.
