Biography

Ghassan Akram Qattan is an Assistant Lecturer at the Department of Software Engineering, College of Engineering, University of Salahaddin, Erbil, Iraq. He holds a Master of Science in Software and Informatics Engineering from the University of Salahaddin, obtained in 2020. His academic journey began with a Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering from the University of Baghdad in 1998, followed by a Higher Diploma in Software and Informatics Engineering from the University of Salahaddin in 2010.

Ghassan has extensive experience in academia, having served as a Lab Assistant at the Department of Computer Engineering, College of Engineering, University of Baghdad from 1998 to 2002. He continued his career at the University of Salahaddin, where he worked as a Lab Assistant from 2006 to 2020. Since 2021, he has been an Assistant Lecturer at the same university, contributing significantly to the Department of Software Engineering.

Throughout his teaching career, Ghassan has taught a wide range of subjects, including Mathematics I-IV, Math for Computing, Real-Time Systems, Digital Control Programming, Embedded Software, Logic Design, and various laboratory courses such as Computer Skills, Data Structure, Electronics and Logic, Arduino, and Data Security. His diverse teaching portfolio reflects his deep expertise and commitment to educating the next generation of engineers.
