Biography

He was educated in Iraq and the United Kingdom. He was graduated in July 1995 with a First Class Honors Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Salahaddin, Iraq. This was followed by the Master of Science degree from the College of Engineering, Salahaddin University. Then he received his doctorate in Mechanical Engineering, also awarded by the Queen Mary, University of London.

From 1997-1999 he was on the college of the Mechanical Engineering Department at Salahaddin University as a teaching assistant. From 2007-2010 he was at the School of Engineering and Materials science, Queen Mary University of London teaching thermodynamics.

My research concentrates in thermal/fluid sciences and applications on the design of power and chiller systems, energy conversion systems, renewable energy, engineering systems and components, with emphasis on analysis; design; and their steady, unsteady and transient performance. My personal research concentrates on evaluation of performance of PV panels, centrifugal pump and on unsteady thermo-fluid dynamics and unsteady transport phenomena within the above themes.
