Biography

 

I have been working as a member of the teaching staff since 2014 in the department of economics at the College of Administration and Economics at the University Salahaddin-Erbil.

I have obtained a PhD in Business Translation at the College of Languages at the University of Salahaddin-Erbil in 2022-2023, and I obtained a Master of Arts (MA) Degree in Arabic/English Translation and Interpreting at Ustinov College, Durham University, UK, in 2011–2012. Then I obtained a scholarship from DAAD Germany to study the University Leadership and Higher Education Management (UNILEAD) program in 2014–2015 at the University of Oldenburg, Germany. After that, I obtained another scholarship from the U.S. Consulate General in Baghdad to participate in the Teacher Training Program, including TEFL, EFL, ESP, curriculum design, business management, leadership, and social entrepreneurship, at Arkansas University, USA, in 2017.

I have also obtained many online scholarships to participate in training courses such as the English as a Foreign Language (EFL) Assessment course from the University of Maryland Baltimore Country, USA, in 2016 and English for Teaching with the British Council in Baghdad in 2016. In addition to my specialization in teaching the English language, I am also teaching Arabic to English speakers.

I have participated in many training courses in administration and management inside and abroad of Iraq, such as Scientific Methods for Administering Human Resources and Preparing and Developing Skills of Administrators and Senior Office Managers, in 2006 and 2005 in Egypt.

I have more than 15 years of experience in HR and administration management, and I have worked in the presidency of the University of Salahaddin-Erbil, the University of Kurdistan Hawler, and a number of NGOs and corporations in the field of human resources and administration management in both the public and private sectors.
