Educational Background:
- I am awarded a BSc degree in Economics with a very good grade from the College of Administration and Economics, Salahaddin University, Erbil – Iraq in 1999.
- Then, I have awarded MSc degree in Economics in 2004, also from the College of Administration and Economics, Salahaddin University, Erbil – Iraq.
- In 2011, I started my scientific journey to the United Kingdom to study PhD degree/Doctorate in Economics at Plymouth University. I have successfully been awarded PhD degree in September 2015 at Plymouth university (United Kingdom).
- In 15th september 2019, I have promoted to Associate Professor.
- My research focuses on Private Investment, Oil Industry, Higher Education and Scientific Research in Iraq, Economic Development with special interests in Econometrics, modelling, and Time Series Analysis.
- I have Worked as a part time Lecturer at Ishik university for the academic year 2018- 2019 at Business school/ I was teaching subject introduction to economics to accounting, business and (IRD) International Relation Diplomacy departments.
- I have supervised a master research on (DETERMINANTS OF HOUSEHOLD DEMAND FOR ACCESS TO INTERNET IN ERBIL CITY FOR 2019).
- I am currently supervising a PhD research on (ECONOMIC GLOBALIZATION AND ITS IMPACT ON ECONOMIC GROWTH IN IRAQ).
I am also working as a Researcher and teaching undergroudet and post graduate students (master and PhD) at Econimics Department, College of Administration and Economics at Salahaddin University, Erbil, Iraq.

Ø I have also attended a conference in Cambridge University from 18 – 19 October 2013, on “Iraq: A decade of new governance”. The Conference participants include people from academia, research institutions, and the government of Iraq. This conference allowed me to discuss key issues relating to the socio-economic environment and development in the country with them.
Ø Presenting a conference paper on the impact of the private investment on economic development in Iraq in the 2nd Iraqi Day & the Scientific Conference of Iraqi Students at Plymouth University on 1st of March 2014.
Ø Participating in the postgraduate society conferences at Plymouth University on the 17th of June 2014.
Ø Participating in the International Journal of Art and Science (IJAS) by presenting the paper entitled “A time series analysis of determinants of domestic private investment in Iraq (1970 – 2010)” disciplines at Harvard Medical School, Boston, Massachusetts, USA, during 26 to 30 May 2014.
Ø At Harvard Medical School, Boston, Massachusetts, USA, during 26 to 30 May 2014, I had a great opportunity for chairing research presentation during the conference and supervising the presentations and encouraging recommendations from the audience as feedback to the presenters. As a result of that the organiser of the IJAS conference ‘’’ Mark Bridge’’ introduced a Merit Certificate to me.
Ø Participating in the another International conference named International Conference on Financial Management and Economics (ICFME) on 3-4 of July 2014, Plymouth, UK. In the (ICFME) conference, I have presented the second paper titled (Public and Private Investment and Economic Development in Iraq (1970-2010)). Then the paper was published in the international journal named IACSIT Journal International Association of Computer Science and Information Technology.
