Biography
Dr. Karzan Mohammad is a distinguished research scholar and a known academician in the region for being the best researcher in Kurdistan region for 5 consecutive years.He has a vital role in advancing the biomedical research in the region and in Salahaddin University in the past decade. He got his Master at Salahaddin Univeristy-Erbil in 2008 and got his PhD from the University of Manchester in 2013. He also worked as a post-doctoral associate at the University of Manchester,UK from 2013-2016.

Currently, his work is focused on finding the secret behind microbial resistance to anti-cancers and hopes to apply that as a vaccine for human cancer prevention through PhD programs and master students, of which progress has been made and 2 PhD has been awarded so far for that project. He also managing the editorial board of BIOMED TARGET JOURNAL. He has more than 90 publications and over 90,000 citations.
