Biography

  • I am an Assistant Professor at Salahaddin University-Erbil, Kurdistan Region, Iraq. I hold a Ph.D. in Molecular Parasitology (2019) and an M.Sc. in Infectious Diseases (2007), both from Duhok University, where I also completed my B.Sc. in Veterinary Medicine in 2003. My academic journey began with my first employment in 2003, and since then, I have built a diverse career in teaching, research, and fieldwork within the veterinary sciences. I have been actively involved in teaching since 2007, delivering courses across multiple stages, including Zoology, Animal Products Hygiene, Animal and Poultry Disease, Veterinary Anatomy, Infectious Disease, and Parasitology. My work also spans several areas of animal health management and agriculture extension. I have made significant contributions to research, with numerous publications focused on parasitic diseases and animal health. My work on the prevalence of ticks, gastrointestinal parasites, and piroplasmosis in equids and ruminants is well-recognized, as is my expertise in molecular diagnostics.
