Biography

 

He has Ph.D. in Civil and Environmental Engineering from The University of Missouri-Columbia-USA.  He holds a GIS certification from the University of Missouri- Columbia-USA. He holds a master’s degree in Civil Engineering-Water Resources from Baghdad University-Iraq. He has over 20 years of experience teaching Civil Engineering-Water Resources topics in Libya and Iraq and the Kurdistan Region. He has more than 12 years of Engineering experience with many projects and designs by AutoCAD and supervising concrete structures and implementing most of his designs. He also experienced materials estimation of the construction materials and most of the civil engineering earthworks. He is working on GIS-based modeling of infiltration, evapotranspiration, and subsurface flow at wetlands. He also has prior experience related to the design and construction of artificial habitats for endangered Hellbender Salamanders which is a hydrodynamic concrete structure that is stable in streams and rivers and has a special shape to minimize the sedimentation at the entrance of the nest box.
