Biography

Dr. Mukhlis H. Aali is an expert in molecular genetics who grew up in Erbil City, located in the Kurdistan Region of Iraq. Driven by a passion for science and genetics, Dr. Mukhlis pursued a deeper understanding of human medical genetics and completed a PhD in Human Molecular Genetics in 2018 through a joint program between Salahaddin University-Erbil (SUE) and University Technology Malaysia (UTM). Earlier, in 2010, Dr. Mukhlis obtained a master’s degree in Molecular Biology and Biotechnology.

Throughout their academic career, Dr. Mukhlis developed a strong interest in Cancer Research (oncology), Medical Molecular Genetics, Human Tissue Culture, and Medical Biotechnology. Their dedication to these fields is evident through their teaching, research, and collaborative work. Dr. Mukhlis's commitment to advancing knowledge in cancer and medical genetics drives their ambition to make significant contributions to medical science and healthcare.
