Biography

Assistant Professor Dr. Nazeera Sedeek Kareem Barznji was born in Slemani, Kurdistan. 

She got her Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Statistics from The University of Sulaimani, in 1980.

After she graduated, she was directly employed back at her university as an Assistant Researcher. She taught the Principles of Statistics to the First stage of her department, Economical Statistics to the Second stage of her department, and Statistics to the Third stage of College of Arts-Department of Sociology.

She then worked at the Ministry of Education as an employee, later as a high school teacher, and then a school principal.

She started her Master of Science (MSc) degree in the year 2000, and finished in 2002.

She started working in the Teacher's Institute as a Computer teacher.

In 2005, she started working as an Assistant Lecturer in the University of Salahaddin-College of Administration and Economics, Department of Statistics.

In 2010, she started her Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree, she finished her degree in 2015, and became a Lecturer.

She has supervised many students for their graduation researches and training courses. She has taught Excel to the Second stage of the Administration Department, Numerical Analysis to the Second stage of the Statistics department, Principle of Statistics to the First stage of Finance and Banking department, and Nonparametric Method to Master degree students.

She has been an Assistant Professor since 2019.
