Biography
Rabar is a lecturer at Salahaddin University, Erbil, College of Agriculture, Department of Field Crops. He holds a PhD of Post Harvest Engineering, Field Crops/ Fiber Crops.
Rabar Fatah Salih was born in March 1980 in Erbil, Kurdistan region, Iraq. He completed his primary, intermediate, and secondary school education in 1999. He got admission into the College of Agriculture, Department of Plant Production, University of Salahaddin, Kurdistan, in 1999/2000 and obtained his BSc in Plant Production in 2003/2004. He graduated as the fourth best student in his department, and the tenth best student in the whole of the College. After his graduation, he was directly employed as an Assistant Researcher at the same Department and College. In 2010, he obtained his MSc at the Department of Field Crops, College of Agriculture, University of Salahaddin, Kurdistan/Iraq. During this time, he published two academic papers. Later, he became an Assistant Lecturer at Salahaddin University, until he started as a PhD student at Universiti Putra Malaysia.
From 2012-2015, he was with Universiti Putra Malaysia as a PhD Student in the Department of Biological and Agricultural Engineering, Faculty of Engineering. During this time, he published three academic papers. However, Rabar attended the “Second International Conference on Food and Agricultural Engineering (CAFEi2014), Kuala Lumpur, 1-3 December 2014,” where he was as a presenter. Also, he was attended as a presenter in The 7th International Conference on Sustainable Agriculture for Food, Energy and Industry in Regional and Global Context (ICSAFEI 2015.), Faculty of Engineering, Univeriti Putra Malaysia, 25-27 August 2015.
Rabar also completed his PhD study in 2016 in Post Harvest Engineering at the Department of Biological and Agricultural Engineering, Faculty of Engineering, Universiti Putra Malaysia.
He was also, after getting to a PhD published several academic papers and a scientific book. Additionally, Rabar was attended to several International Scientific Conferences.
