Shler Maulood Abdullah holds a Master's degree in Sociology and Social Policy from the University of Kurdistan-Hawler in 2010. She has a master's degree in Applied Linguistics/ TESOL. She has taught Social work skills, Developmental psychology, Occupational Psychology, psycholinguistics, Psychological texts in English language, Sociology and English language (General English Book and English skills: Reading, Writing, Speaking and Listening) at different departments of the College of Arts and College of Education: Psychology, Sociology, Social Work, Computer and Math departments.
She worked as a trainer for about seven years in the Training and Educational Development Institute. She has three TOT certifications: TOT from the Canadian Board, TOT from Birmingham college, and TOT from IREX Organization. She participated in many workshops, seminars, webinars, and virtual sessions by IREX Organization, GIZ Organization, etc.
She holds a certification of teaching General English book for university students.
She encourages the new process of teaching and learning that students center the classroom, and she uses the latest method of teaching and motivates students to be creative in thinking.
