Assistant Lecturer, Department of Animal Resources, Salahaddin University, Erbil
I am an Assistant Lecturer in the Department of Animal Resources at Salahaddin University in Erbil. I hold a Master of Science degree in Environmental Sciences from Cyprus International University, where I conducted research on protein enrichment in agro-industrial residues, a topic that blends my interests in sustainable agriculture and environmental science. I also hold a Bachelor of Science in Animal Resources from Salahaddin University, a foundation that has supported my expertise in animal science and agricultural sustainability.
My academic qualifications are complemented by practical experience in a variety of teaching, research, and administrative roles. I have been actively involved in the design and delivery of courses in environmental planning, animal hygiene, agroecology, animal feed, and animal ecology. Additionally, I supervise student projects in these fields, guiding the next generation of scholars and practitioners.
In my role at Salahaddin University, I am also responsible for developing and implementing departmental goals, ensuring that academic programs meet accreditation standards, and managing departmental resources, including animal science laboratories. I have a strong background in educational leadership, student advisement, and fostering a research-oriented culture within my department.
My qualifications are further supported by professional development courses in areas such as biotechnology and microbiology lab safety, as well as advanced English for university lecturers. These courses have helped me refine my technical skills and expand my ability to communicate effectively in both academic and research contexts. I am fluent in Kurdish, Arabic, English, and Turkish, which enhances my ability to collaborate with diverse groups of students and colleagues.
