Biography
My name is Ali Hassan Ali. I was born in Halabja in 1983 and studied English language and literature at English Department, College of Arts, Salahaddin University. I got B.A in 2004 and was the third top student in the department in the academic year. Then, I started working as an assistant researcher for several years at the English Department, College of Languages. In 2011, I got M.A in English Poetry and since then I teach at the department. In the past several years, I have taught English poetry, drama, literary criticism and Translation. At the same time, I have experience in journalism and translation. I am a PhD student now and my dissertation is about modern American poetry. I taught English literature, prose and poetry to First Year students in the academic year 2022-2023.
