Biography
Dr. Amir A. Ahmad is s PhD in Nanotechnology, who is currently the head of Physics Department, College of Science, Salahaddin University. Dr. Ahmad Teaches General Physics, Statistical Physics, Mathematical Physics, ... since 2003.
He has supervised many BSc student projects and encouraged young motivated students to show their talent including science, painting, music, ... and opened many art festivals at the same department.
Dr Ahmad is also responsible for arranging academic and scientific cooperation with one of the most distinguished research centers in Iran, the Institute for Advanced Studies in Basic Sciences, Zanjan-Iran(IASBS), as the result many common workshops and conferences have been held in both sides and about 15 postgraduate students from Kurdistan Region are enrolled in the IASBS.
He is also in charge of running the research center at Salahaddin University, having the proposal for building the Super Computing Center and Digital Holography laboratory for Salahaddin University.
Another interest and activity of Dr. Amir Ahmad is the production of "University Stars" TV Show which is about the scientific contest among all universities in Kurdistan region, the first season has been broadcasted in 2018 on Kurdistan24 TV channel and the 2019's season is currently being recording.
