Biography
Chalang Hama Rashed Mohammed received his BSc in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Salahaddin Erbil, Iraq. He then worked as an Engineer in the Ministry of Work and Reconstruction in the Kurdistan Regional Government. In 2004, he received his MSc in Production, also from the University of Salahaddin Erbil, Iraq and subsequently became a member of the academic staff, as an Assistant Lecturer, at the same university. In 2015, he get a PhD degree at the Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia. His research interests are in multiple model adaptive control and control systems for hydro turbine generators.
Research Interest
My primary research interest lies within the broad field of mechanical engineering, with a specific focus on the design and implementation of adaptive control systems. As a university lecturer, I am deeply motivated by the fundamental challenge of achieving stable and reliable control over a diverse range of processes, particularly those characterized by uncertainties, disturbances, and time-varying parameters.
