Biography

  • I was awarded a B.Sc. in Statistics from the University of Salahaddin in July 2002 at the College of Administration and Economics. I also received an M.Sc. degree in applied statistics at the University of Mosul in May 2007. After getting my master's degree I was appointed as an assistant lecturer at the Department of Mathematics / College Basic Education/Salahaddin University in 2007. 
  • Recently I was awarded a Ph.D. from Sheffield University. "Bayesian Shrinkage in Linear Models with an Application to Genetic Networks" supervised by ( Miguel Juarez - University of Sheffield)
  • I have taught some subjects at the undergraduate level which include Educational, SPSS, Statistics, Probability & Statistics, Principles of Statistics, IT, Linear Programming, and MATLAB. At this time, I can speak three languages: English, Kurdish, and Arabic.
