Biography
I started learning music for the first time in 1977. After primary and secondary school in Erbil, I went to the Mosul Institute of Fine Arts and started playing the piano. In 1996 I started studying piano and (theore composition) at Bilkent University.
I obtained my bachelor’s degree in 2002 and my master’s degree in 2005 from the same university in (Theory Composition). Honor position
i'm working now in College of Fine Arts / Salahaddin University in Erbil since 2011 like a Assistant Lecturer at Music department.
I been held the position of Head of the Music Department from 2011-2012 an till 2016-2017.
I obtained my PHD degree in 31 October 2023 with Honor position / Music Composition (Doctor of Philosophy)
I been held the position of Head of the Music Department for second time 2023-2024
