Biography
Hurea Saber Abdulrazaq was born in Erbil, Northern Iraq on June 18, 1977. He completed his primary, intermediate and secondary education in Erbil. He received his Bachelor’s degree in Animal Resources from the College of Agriculture, University of Salahaddin-Erbil, Kurdistan Region, Iraq. He graduated in July 2000. In November 2001, he joined the same university as a research assistant in the Animal Resources Department.
Hurea started his Master’s program at the College of Agriculture, University of Salahaddin-Erbil in 2003 with a focus on his research interests in the areas of poultry production and technology. He started his PhD program in September 2012 at the Department of Animal Sciences, College of Agriculture, University of Mosul to further research on poultry breeding and improvement, genetic diversity in local and exotic chickens using RAPD-PCR technique. After completing his PhD program, he was appointed as a lecturer in the Animal Resources Department and is a faculty member at the University of Salahaddin-Erbil, College of Agriculture until now.
