Dr. Husein Ali Husein is a Professor of Architectural Engineering and has competence in Architectural Technology in the Department of Architectural Engineering, where he joined work at Koya University in 2005. Before that He was living in Germany, working as an architect in the company Tevak GmbH, and studied at the Technische Universität- Berlin.
He gained a B.Sc. degree in Architectural Engineering from the University of Technology- Baghdad in 1990, an M.Sc. degree in Architectural Engineering and Public Building Design fromTU-Berlin in 2004, and a Ph.D. degree in Architectural Technology from the University of Sulaimania, in 2011.
He started his academic teaching in 2005 when he joined work at Koya University, as an Assistant Lecturer in the department of Architectural engineering.
In 2007 he was heading the Department of Architectural Engineering in the Faculty of Engineering at Koya University for several years.
Since 2 July 2018, he is a member of the teaching staff in the Department of Architectural Engineering, college of engineering at salahaddin university-Erbil
He is a member of the Kurdistan Engineers Union and Iraqi Engineers Union.
He is a member of the teaching staff at salahaddin university-Erbil/ college of engineering/ Architecture department since 02.07.2018
