Biography

Asst. Prof. Dr. Iqbal Murad Dhahir Al-Rawi

 I earned my B.Sc. in Biology from the College of Science, Mosul University, in 1987, followed by an M.Sc. in Biology from the same institution in 1992. In 2011, I obtained my Ph.D. in Field Crops from the College of Agriculture, Salahaddin University, Erbil. I began my academic career as an Assistant Lecturer at the College of Agriculture & Forestry, Mosul University (1992-1997), and later served in similar positions at Duhok University (1998-2000) and Salahaddin University (2000-2002). From 2003 to 2012, I held a Lecturer position in the Field Crops   Department at Salahaddin University. In 2012, I was promoted to Assistant Professor in the Field Crops Department and later transitioned to the Plant Protection Department in 2018, where I continues to contribute to teaching. In addition to my academic and teaching roles, I have made significant contributions to research, with a focus on crop sciences. I have been authored 15 publications in various national and international journals, showcasing my expertise in areas such as field crops, plant health, and agricultural sustainability.
