Biography

My name is Kawa Qadir Muhammad and I am from Hawler, the Capital of KRI. I finished my undergraduate studies in English Language Education at Salahaddin University in2009, taking the first place at the level of my college. I continued my postgraduate study and got master's degree in Applied Linguistics at College of Languages in 2013. Since then, I have been teaching at College of Basic Education as a lecturer and have published five research papers in four different academic journals inside the Kurdistan Region. My published research topics are about culture effects on language learner's Identity, the use back-channels by Kurdish speakers, diversity education amongst lecturers, and analysing   writing lingusitc features in non-native English Essays. The subjects I have taught so far include Grammar, Pronunciation, Conversation, Paragraph and Essay Writing, Linguistics, Diversity Education, Entrepreneurship Education,  Translation, Sociolingusitics, Language and Culture, Academic Skills and Methods of Teaching.  Recently, I successfully completed my  PhD study in Applied Lingusitics.
