Biography
Kayfi Akram Mawlan completed his Bachelor's Degree in Architecture at the Baghdad University in 1982. He received his Master's Degree in Urban Planning from the Faculty of Architecture and Urban planning –Khartoum University –Sudan in 1999. In 2018, he earned his Ph.D. at the Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM) – Housing, Building and Planning school (HBP) - Penang –Malaysia with the specialty of Urban Planning and Design.
He worked as part time lecturer in the Department of Architecture, Omdurman University and Sudan University of Science and technology in Khartoum- Sudan during 2001 and 2002. Currently, he is Lecturer in the Department of Architecture - Engineering College- Salahaddin University in Erbil –Iraq since 2002.
Over his teaching career period in Architecture Department , he taught different undergraduate courses which included Architectural Design (4th Stage and 5th Stage), Architectural Thesis (5th Stage), City Planning and Housing (3rd Stage), Planning Principles (2nd Stage), Urban Design (4th stage), Smart Urban Growth (4th stage).
