Biography

My name is Lana Othman Mahmood, and I am a biochemist with a passion for research in the field of health sciences. I hold a PhD in Biochemistry, which I completed in 2024 from the Chemistry Department, College of Science, Salahaddin University. I also earned my MSc in Biochemistry in 2015 and a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry in 2010 from the same department, where my academic journey began.

Throughout my career, I have pursued various professional development opportunities, including participating in advanced English language courses and training in modern teaching methodologies. These experiences have not only enhanced my communication skills but also improved my effectiveness in both academic instruction and scientific writing.

My primary research interests revolve around the role of biochemical markers in human health, particularly in relation to cardiovascular and neurological conditions. I have been fortunate enough to publish one research paper that addresses critical health issues:

"Assessment of the Antioxidants Blood Levels of Migraine Patients in Erbil City".
