Biography
M S Omar is a Professor of solid state physics in the University of Salahaddin-Erbil, Iraqi Kurdistan in Iraq since 1987. His PhD is from University of Bath, England, 1985. He supervised more than 30 MSc and PhD students within his research group projects. In the last two ducats, he is involved in working on structure, thermal and optoelectronic properties of nano-scaled semiconductors. His present work is on surface structure and thermodynamical properties of low scaled nanocrystals and wires. He and with his group, published a book and more than 50 scientific articles in national and international journals
