Biography
Nazim Rasul Abdulla was born in the 8th of May 1979 at Erbil, Iraq.
He completed his primary, secondary and high school education in Erbil. He pursued his B.Sc. degree at the Department of Animal Resource, Faculty of Agriculture, Salahalddin University and graduated in 2003.
After finishing the B.Sc. program, in 2003, he joined the Department of Animal Resource, Faculty of Agriculture, Salahalddin University 2003 – 2006 as a research assistant. He started his M.Sc. program in the Faculty of Agriculture, Salahalddin University, Erbil, Iraq in November, 2006 focusing his research interests in the areas of poultry nutrition. After finishing the M.Sc. program, in 2009, he continued as an assistant lecturer in the same faculty until 2012.
In 2012, he was awarded a scholarship by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Kurdistan Region, Iraq to pursue his Doctor of Philosophy in poultry nutrition. He started his PhD program on September 2012 at the Faculty of Agriculture, Universiti Putra Malaysia to continue further research on growth performance and meat quality in broiler chickens fed diets supplemented with different oil sources. He finished his PhD program in poultry management and nutrition in 2016.
