Biography

 Pawan Asghar Talib is an accomplished academic from Erbil, the capital of the Kurdistan Region, with a strong focus on teaching, educational reform, and community engagement. She holds a Master’s degree in Applied Linguistics and English Language Teaching (ELT) from the University of Nottingham, UK, awarded in 2013, and a Bachelor's degree in English Language from Salahaddin University-Erbil, completed in 2009. Currently a PhD candidate, Pawan has held several key academic positions, including lecturer at Salahaddin University-Erbil and Tishk University’s College of Education, and she has served as Head of the English Language Department at both Aynda Private Technical Institute and Bayan University.    In her current role, she is a lecturer at the College of Political Sciences, contributing to both teaching and academic development. Pawan has actively participated in numerous national and international conferences, enriching her expertise in the field. Additionally, she is a legal freelance translator, interpreter, and researcher, with a particular interest in Educational Psychology, Applied Linguistics, Classroom Management, English Language Teaching, and the role of Artificial Intelligence in education.
