Biography
I am from Erbil City. Working currently as a full time academic staff at Salahaddin University - Erbil, College of Arts, Geography department since 2004. I was on official leave from the university as marital companion, with my husband, which studied Doctoral degree in the United states of America from 2006 - 2012. My research interest is in Tourism Planning, Geography of Tourism, Urban Recreational Planning, Ecotourism.
The nature of kurdistan and its diverse culture inspired me to think how tourism can be one of the major source of the economy of kurdistan. Hence, geographical features of Kurdistan may become main attraction for tourists. Tourism and Geography are so closely related that, the success of tourism activities is dependent on the geographical conditions. So, Tourism needs a physical and human geography for its ventures.
