Biography

I am a lecturer at the Salahaddin University-Erbil. I received my MSc. In microbiology from Salahaddin university-Erbil (2006) and my Ph.D. in molecular virology from the Salahaddin University-Erbil in (2014). I believe students are our future and each of them has the potential to bring one thing distinctive and special to the world. We must facilitate to develop their potential by believing in them as capable individuals and assist them in discovering who they are, so they can express their own opinions and their own ideas. In order to provide a meaningful environment and acquire a significant learning outcome, it is vital to create real world connections, to incorporate student centered learning, to utilize technology, to generate continual growth as a teacher, and to maintain a strict control over the classroom while remaining approachable. Also my goals in teaching are not just to promote learning of the subject matter, I also attempt to assist the students learn to think and suppose logically, learn problem-solving strategies. Finally, I believe all undergraduate students should leave this university armed with the ability to critically think. Thus, a cornerstone of my teaching philosophy and personal teaching goals is to assist students develop their critical thinking skills.
