Sweyda Abdullah received a B.Sc. in architectural design from the College of Engineering, Architectural Department, Salahaddin University, Erbil (2012). The M.Sc. degree in architectural design focuses on adaptability in office space layout through buildings' layers from Salahaddin University,Erbil, (2017).The PhD degree in architectural design in general and  specific specialist design studies  from Salahaddin University,Erbil,( 2023).

    She is currently a lecturer at Salahaddin University's College of Engineering's Architectural Department.

Her research interests encompass a wide range of design subjects, including the active design approach, human behaviour and the environment, environmental psychology, human psychology, the adaptability of space layout across time, human comfort in interior design, and space syntax.
