Biography
Dr. Wael Ali Khudheyer was born in Baghdad. He received the B.Sc. degree in Production engineering from the University of Technology-Baghdad in 1986. He was awarded Iraqi state scholarship to England in 1987. He received his Ph.D. degree in Mechanical engineering from Leeds University in 1992. He worked as assistant chief engineer and departmental manger in the Ministry of Science and Technology from 1993 till 1996. During that period, he was lecturing in the University of Technology-Baghdad.
In the spring of 1997 he joined the department of mechanical engineering at the University of Salahaddin-Erbil as a lecturer where he is currently working. His research interests include metal forming, stress analysis and finite element methods. He is a member of Iraqi and Kurdistan engineers union
