Biography of Assistant Professor Dr. Awaz Kareem Rasul Hawiz

· Assistant Professor of Hydrogeochemistry at the Earth Sciences and Petroleum Department, Salahaddin University -Erbil, Iraq since 2023.

B. Sc. in 1992, M.Sc. in 2003, and Ph.D. in 2013 from Salahaddin University, Erbil, Iraq.
Got a Lecturer at Salahaddin University in Oct. 1993.
On 15 January 2023, I was promoted to Assistant Professor at the same University.
Major interests are elemental and isotopic geochemistry of carbonate rocks, assessment of Major, Trace, and Heavy Metal in Clay, sediment, rock, and water; Hydrochemical Characteristics and Quality Assessment of Surface Water; Hydrochemistry and quality assessment of Reservoir.
Participated in many local and international conferences and workshop activities: Workshop in Guyane University in Paris 2023
Published many papers in the Journal of Dohuk University 2006; Arabian Journal of Geosciences 2019 and 2020; Iraqi Geological Journal 2022 and 2023, respectively.
